After living in Guangzhou for nearly a decade, I’ve learned one thing: this city is the heartbeat of China’s fashion wholesale scene. Picture over a thousand markets — from tiny mom-and-pop stalls to towering glass malls — all buzzing from dawn till dusk.

If you’re coming here to hunt for clothing, let me take you on a personal tour of my go-to markets. Whether you’re after luxury boutique pieces, the latest Korean-style trends, or dirt-cheap bulk buys, Guangzhou has it all. These are the ones you simply can’t miss.

Guangzhou Baima Clothing Wholesale Market (广州白马服装批发市场)

My first stop every time. Baima is the fashion hub — 60,000+ sqm, 10 floors, and consistently ranked #1 in trade volume citywide. The first few floors brim with trendy women’s apparel; men’s fashion rules the upper levels.

Prices are a bit steeper than other markets, but you get quality, style, and organized chaos in the best way. Plus, it’s right next to Guangzhou Railway Station, so you can roll in straight off the train.

Why I love it: My go-to starting point. Clean, organized, and buzzing with high-quality fashion.

Highlights:

  • 🏢 10 floors (60,000+ sqm)
  • 👗 Trendy women’s fashion on lower floors
  • 👔 Men’s wear on upper floors
  • 💰 Mid-to-high price, top quality
  • 🚇 Next to Guangzhou Railway Station (Metro Line 2 & 5)

📍 No. 16 Zhannan Road, Yuexiu District (广州市越秀区站南路16号)

Guangzhou Yima Clothing Wholesale Plaza (广州壹马服装广场)

Just across the road from Baima, Yima is where I go for variety. Think Korean “Ins-style” women’s wear on the lower floors and smart-casual menswear upstairs.

The top floor is often buzzing with live-streamers showing off the latest drops — a fun scene to witness if you’re new here. Perfect if you want a one-stop shop for both women’s and men’s apparel.

Why I love it: Best for variety — and live-stream fashion shows on the top floor are fun to watch.

Highlights:

  • 🛍️ 10+ floors
  • 👗 Korean “Ins-style” women’s wear (lower levels)
  • 👔 Smart casual menswear (upper levels)
  • 📸 Live-stream & fashion show zone
  • 🚇 Near Exit H, Guangzhou Railway Station

📍 No. 11 Zhannan Road, Yuexiu District (广州市越秀区站南路11号)

Guangzhou Hongmian International Fashion City (广州红棉国际时装城)

Locals call it Kapok City, and it’s a favorite of mine for chic mid-to-high-end women’s wear. Imagine 1,800+ merchants under one roof, from sleek domestic designer labels to trendy Korean and European boutiques.

It’s also a trend release center, so if you want to see what’s next in China’s fashion scene, this is where the whispers start.

Why I love it: A trendsetter’s paradise — this is where new fashion lines launch.

Highlights:

  • 🏙️ 60,000 sqm, 1,800+ merchants
  • 👗 Mid-to-high-end women’s fashion & accessories
  • 💡 Trend release & designer showcase center
  • 🚉 Beside the main bus terminal & railway station

📍 No. 184 Huanshi West Road, Yuexiu District (广州市越秀区环市西路184号)

Hongmian International Fashion City

Guangzhou Huimei International Fashion City (广州汇美国际时装城)

Whenever I want something more refined, I wander over to Huimei. It’s boutique heaven — around 400 shops filled with modern Chinese styles, Korean chic, and European elegance.

Insider tip: Visit during year-end promos. I’ve scored winter coats for ¥150 and bundle deals like 3 pieces for ¥100. Worth it.

Why I love it: Pure boutique energy — and great year-end discounts.

Highlights:

  • 🛍️ ~400 designer women’s boutiques
  • 👗 Modern Chinese, Korean, and European styles
  • 💸 Year-end deals (e.g. 3 pcs for ¥100)
  • 🚇 5-min walk from Railway Station (Exit F)

Guangzhou UUS International Fashion City (广州UUS国际时装城)

UUS is the new kid on the block — and it’s making waves. Dubbed the “Chinese Dongdaemun,” it oozes Korean-inspired street fashion.

Expect trendy womenswear on floors 1–4, edgy menswear on 5–8, and plenty of original boutique labels you won’t see elsewhere. If you’re scouting for fresh designs, start here.

Why I love it: Fresh, bold, and youthful — like Guangzhou’s own Dongdaemun.

Highlights:

  • 🏢 9 floors, sleek design
  • 👗 Women’s fashion (1–4F) / 👔 Men’s (5–8F)
  • 💅 Korean-inspired streetwear & original brands
  • 🚶 Walkable from Huimei area

Guangzhou apM Times International Fashion City (广州APM时代国际服装城)

Massive and sleek — this place feels like you’ve stepped into Seoul. apM spans 280,000 sqm over 11 floors, filled with original designs, Korean brands, and even accessories and bags.

I love losing an afternoon here just browsing the high-end women’s sections — especially the 2nd floor, which focuses on premium Korean-style fashion.

Why I love it: Huge and modern — like shopping in Seoul without leaving China.

Highlights:

  • 🏢 280,000 sqm across 11 floors
  • 👗 Premium Korean-style women’s wear (2F is gold)
  • 👜 Bags, shoes & accessories too
  • 🚉 Close to Yima & Railway Station

Guangzhou Shisanhang Clothing Wholesale Market (广州十三行服装批发市场)

Welcome to organized chaos. Shisanhang is where you go for low- to mid-priced fashion in every style imaginable.

Picture narrow streets lined with multi-story markets, racks spilling over with the latest Korean/Japanese-inspired looks — often for a fraction of what you’d pay elsewhere.

Arrive early (6 AM sharp) and bring comfy shoes; it’s hectic but thrilling.

Why I love it: Sheer energy. It’s chaotic, loud, and full of crazy bargains.

Highlights:

  • 🧥 Mid- to low-priced women’s, kids’ & jeans
  • 💸 Ultra cheap — bulk deals galore
  • 💃 Korean/Japanese-style fast fashion
  • ⏰ Opens at 6 AM, closes early
  • 🚇 Walk from Cultural Park or Yide Road (Line 6)

📍 No. 1 Shisanhang Road, Liwan District (广州市荔湾区十三行路1号)

Guangzhou Shahe Clothing Wholesale Market (广州沙河服装批发市场)

Shahe is the wild west of wholesale — chaotic, crowded, and dirt cheap. Picture T-shirts for a few yuan, jeans under ¥20, and mountains of fast-fashion stock ready for Taobao sellers.

Quality is hit or miss, but if you’re chasing rock-bottom prices and volume, this is your gold mine. Go at dawn (5 AM) before the best deals vanish.

Why I love it: it’s like a fast-fashion jungle.

Highlights:

  • 🏪 Thousands of tiny stalls
  • 💰 T-shirts from a few yuan, jeans < ¥20
  • 📦 Supplies much of China’s e-commerce fashion
  • ⚡ Early bird needed (opens ~5 AM)

Guangzhou Liuhua Fashion Wholesale Market (广州流花服装批发市场)

Liuhua is where the world shops — a massive foreign-trade center with 2,000+ suppliers selling everything from evening dresses to Muslim wear.

If you’re an international buyer after serious volume, this is your jackpot. Expect live broadcast studios, export agents, and whole-container deals flying out daily.

Why I love it: This is where international buyers flock — bulk orders, export-ready.
