When people say “Guangzhou sports market,” they usually mean one of three things: (1) sporting goods (balls, rackets, gym gear), (2) sportswear/athleisure wholesale, or (3) sneakers and shoe accessories. Guangzhou has all three, but they’re not in one cute little building. They’re clustered.

Also, the “sports” business here is not small. China’s National Bureau of Statistics revised the 2023 sports industry total output to 3.6741 trillion yuan, with value added of 1.4915 trillion yuan (about 1.15% of GDP). 2) Guangzhou LIUHUA Fashion Wholesale Market (广州流花服装批发市场)

If your “sports market” search is really about sportswear, this is where you start. You’ll find a lot of wholesale apparel, and sportswear/athleisure is part of the mix because it sells well internationally.

What it’s best for:

• activewear, casual sport sets, basic teamwear-style items
• bulk orders and quick style comparisons

5) Shoe materials: Golden Horse (金马鞋材城) and Tianfu (天富鞋材市场)

These are useful if you’re sourcing components (laces, soles, shoe hardware) or working with a factory and need materials quickly.
